kind of strange. I ordered this a month ago from Summit, it was on backorder. I contacted CDC last week and they stated it's going to go back into production, but they were moving their facilities and having some issues with retooling.

Summit just canceled the item and said the mfg' discontinued it.

Sucks. Seems to be the only decklid panel that eliminates the faux gas cap and looks good while doing it. Anyone aware of an alternative product?.. I am not a fan of chrome nor fake parts.

Is the CDC the completely smooth one, or the one with 'ridges'?

well, CDC claimed it would return at one point. I was just going to wait it out - I ordered to get my spot in queue to get one sooner rather than later when they started pumping them out. irritated that they held my money for over a month, then canceled it on a whim.

I don't know what to believe though.

 

I did the same I ordered mine Jan. 2nd and they just returned the money today which will take another 5-7 days to clear.

 

This makes my heart sad. I had it set on getting one.

I guess I'll just have to plasti dip until they restart production...

Does anybody want one painted sterling gray? You can buy mine I'm going a different route.
