I've never sat in a car with cooled seats...what would be the benefit of cooled seats exactly? Heated seats could soothe muscles or something like that.

The weight penalty wouldn't be worth it IMO. If you want luxury car features, buy a luxury car!

I had cooled seats in my Lexus IS350, and I honestly felt like they were a waste of time in that car. You really couldn't feel them unless you were driving in your skivvies or something. If you were wearing jeans, you honestly could not tell they were on, total waste.

I had cooled seats in an older Saab 9-5 and it saved my butt in Alabama in the summer. I'd love to fit something to my '12, since the seats are already perforated.

I was in a supercharged range rover that had them. On the seat and seat backing as well...man they were sweet.
