Default quarter window louvers and side scoops?

does ford make these parts in oem as a dealer add on, or are they outsourcing them somewhere?

im looking to get the window louvers and side scoops and was thinking it might be best to have ford do it if possible so hopefully they are under a warranty since the car is new.

would that be the best way to go, or are they easily installed and are there aftermarkets that are better than oem, if they are even available?

thanks

In terms of quality, stick with AM (AmericanMuscle.com) they have quality product there. I've had my louvers on and its my DD (Daily Driver) winter/snow/summer/rain/shine/all that jazz. If you go looking for the dealership, expect to pay stealership prices. $300 - $500.
AM sells em for cheap, and pre painted as well. You can also self install these within 5 - 10 minutes including proper measurement and such. They are just stuck on using 3M Doublesided automotive bonding tape (or something like that)

You'll learn very quickly that doing anything through the dealership is going to lighten your wallet quickly.

www.americanmuscle.com

quite the playground and can also lighten your wallet quickly, just with a whole lot more product.

Installing these isn't gonna void your warranty.

I think if you had the dealership do the work most would cover it. There is always some risk with aftermerket body parts (though small with americanmuscle.).

3m motorsports has the ones that stick on the glass only from DG Custom. I much prefer them over sticking to my paint. I just put these on and love them.

These Eleanor style louvers are from American Muscle on my '12 Shelby. They come pre painted and look great.

I had these on my '08. Also prepainted from AM.

Those Eleanor style louvers look great. That is the style I am wanting to get. Does the ones from AM stick to the glass only, or to the paint/body of the car?

And those wheels...I told the dealer i would like to get the Shelby wheels on my GT and have them work it into the payments. He came back and said the wheels would be $1500.00 each!

I wasn't worried about voiding the warranty. I was more concerned having them covered in case the fly off going down the road and scratch the whole side of my car up.
