Default Lowering springs

Hey everyone I'm looking to lower my mustang and wanna know your opinions on different springs. I don't want my car to be scraping all the time but still be noticeably lower.

FRPP K springs will give you about a 1.5" drop both front and back. I've had mine about a year and a half with no problems.

The Steeda Ultralites would be a good set of springs for you. They have a drop of 1.25 in the front and 1.5 in the rear. This is a good drop without scraping to much.

These and the Sport springs are some of the most popular springs on the boards. Take a look around and even do a google image search to see some pictures of consumer's Mustangs with these springs.

Living in California, you could always call up Saleen and see about getting the suspension. My first car was an '07 gt. the first owner put the Saleen suspension on it, but unfortunately made it too low to drive where I live.

I've been running Steeda Ultralites since the car was new with 1k miles. I got 10k now and could not be happier. Smooth, firm ride with great response in cornering and braking. I am riding on Tokico D-spec's so I can adjust the ride firmness but I believe it will be also great with Koni STRT's.
Lowered the front about 1" and the rear a little less than 1.5". It looks much lower in person, pics don't do it justice.

I am running Vogtland .8/1.2 on mine


To me it is the perfect stance and lost the 4X4 look.

OP - Steeda Sport or Ford P Springs both are about 1" lower than stock. For a daily driven street car, I would not recommend much lower than 1-1.5". I was lowered about 1.25" and the front air dam would scrape over speed bumps and parking curbs.

Thanks guys for the info leaning toward UPR sounds good and has military disc. guess I'm a lil cheap lol...

I have Eibach Pros on mine and am very happy with the ride quality and the stance. 1.5 rear and 1 in front.
