just finished this up, thought i'd share

some masking tape and couple cans of spray paint

outta the box:




after i was done with it:






and yes i kno its a GT but they dont make a v6 body

I have one thats a 1:18 scale and just so happens to be white so no need for me to paint and i love it! Well worth the 50 bucks i spent and the detail is amazing

Didn't know they still made xmods
I used to have a fully upgraded vette that would do 45mph next to it car on a smooth surface

yea they discontinued them a while back, i used to have one and donno why but looked into it again recently and saw they had a new mustang so was like maybe i should get one and paint it to match

Radio shack stopped making them in 2010 or 2011.

Did you have a li-poly battery upgrade and custom wound motor? I've heard of them getting up to 30-35 with those mods and maybe 40 with a FET upgrade...but 45?

OP, if you want to upgrade your xmod rode to be faster, just go to atomic mods

I sent my stage 4 motor to a guy on some site a few years ago and for 20$ he would mod it took a few months to get it back in the mail

Would take it to local rc parks and would still get smashed by an Evo so I'm sure they went a lot faster than mine
