I have a 2011 dark blue mustang gt. i wanted to put racing stripes on it and am not sure what color. either white, black or gray. anyone have any pictures of this color with racing stripes that i can make my opinion on? also what do you guys think about vinyl stripes and do they last?

 

Paint them. Find a shop with experience. Take your time choosing.

 

I like the white or silver or gold options, I have vinyl stripes and have had no problems. Had the front and side strips for over a year. I believe Shelby uses vinyl strips at the factory. I know gt with stripes are vinyl... just making a point on the longevity

 

If you want to use vinyl use vinyl, my personal opinion is get them painted. You can kinda get an idea as to what color you might like using the mustang customizer that ford has.

here's my brother in law's 2013 Deep Impact Blue mustang with Silver fender stripes I put on....

 

If I were u and had that Kona Blue mustang I would try and find a set of wide super snake stripes or have some one paint them on. Don't forget the pinstripes. IMO, wide super snake stripes make the car look wider. Don't get crazy with it though lol. I would also do some side C stripes. Do all of this in silver or grey. Look sweet.

Get them painted. Its not the same blue but heres a pic. of mine. There are vinyl and after 3 yrs. the trunk part is starting to come up.

 

is there a place to buy those stripes from? have a 2014 in the same color.
