Okay, I'm a girl so I changed my mind. lol
But, I'm glad and very happy with my final decision. However, I'm needing some opinions on color.

My car is "SGM" Sterling Gray Metallic and I'm getting either matte black or gunmetal Forgestar CF5, 19 inch by 9 inch in front and 19 inch by 10 inch back with appropriate sized BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW 2's.

I also have a matte black Shelby Super Snake stripe kit already awaiting install.

I would go with the matte black, because it is eaiser to look at, in my opinion. Chrome is flashy, HEY LOOK AT ME!!! I know I have chrome wheels but thats soon to be replaced. But it all comes down to what you want. It looks like your very interested in matte black but you get to spend your money on what you want!

I have a 2011 GT500 in SG/Black stripes.

I have had the GT500 wheels powdercoated black. They look great close up but when you get farther than say 25 ft the wheel does kind of blend in.

So i have ordered 4 19x9.5 Forgestar CF5 in textured gun metal. I am going to run a square 275/40/19 set up on mine.

I think the Gunmetal looks much better. I like dark wheels, but black wheels don't quite look right in most cases.

 

I think gunmetal looks better, but it's a tough choice considering that you'll be putting on some matte black stripes on it. Gunmetal looks better, but matte black would match the stripes you'll be putting on. You're really gonna have to think this through. Good luck!

 

I think you should match the stripes. Get the matte black. Too much gray if you try to match the color of your car.IMHO

 

I would choose getting 19x9/19x11 as a staggered setup. Then you can throw the 295/35 BFG's as they run very big compared to other brands like Nitto. Would look great plus with the 19x11 the concavity is very aggressive.

 

I'd say gunmetal! Even with the black stripes, that color should still look really sharp!

 

Damn, I guess I'm in the minority here. I would go matte black just due to the fact that I think the gunmetal would just make everything just grey... grey-out.

 

I agree, the grey ones would look great on black, but grey on grey is too much grey.
