Default Plasti Dipping steps?

Hello there guys! Today I'm planning on plasti dipping my rims and my embles. As far as embles do you guys recommend any steps in specific? For example cleaning them of with something in specific? Also I have been wanting to plasti dip the deck lid on my 05 gt. does anyone have any pictures of what that looks like done on an 05-09? Thanks in advance

Just search for the terms Plastidip and Decklid. You'll see a lot of things pop.

Also...you posted this in 2010+ appearance.

With a 2005, you'll have better luck searching in the 2005-2009 appearance thread.

Takes a minute to get used to the board, but welcome!

You can also check out you tube or dipyourcar.com. That guy has tons of videos out there on his website and you tube. I did my emblems and just cleaned them with some water and they look great.

Didn't realize it was in the 2010+ appearance until I posted it But I actually plasti dipped my wheels to see what they would look like if I got them permanently done. Here is a pic
