Adding options during the build process
Hello everyone,
I'm new here and have a 2014 GT500 on order, I received the vin a couple of days ago and was told it is being built now. The dealer never got ahold of me to finalize options. Mechanically they ordered everything I wanted but did not check about racing strips, scoops and louvers..does anyone know if these can be added during the build process or is it no big deal to add them afterward ?

Welcome and congrats. That's sweet i'm so jealous right now. What I would do for a gt500 haha. As to the build process i'm not sure i've never ordered a car. Hopefully someone else on here can help you out more. Cant wait to see pics once you get it

But heres what I ordered 2014 Shelby GT500 Mustang, Impact Blue, SVT performance package...821a, electronics package with navigation, SVT Track package, Shaker Pro Audio system, driver & passenger heated seats and car cover..they are suppose to call me to day with a delivery date.. I'm pretty pumped...

Oh God I hate you. I don't think there would be a problem with installing what you want at the dealership after the car is built. And it might be cheaper to have a dealership do it over custom built. Orrrr you could save some money and go with aftermarket OEM parts (painted your color) from AM.com.

I talked to the sales guy and his manager said we would have to add the options later..but it's just the stripe and side scoops..
