Default Lowering advise

Ok I took it in had Eibach lowering springs installed. I can tell it has dropped some but not quite were I want it. The guy that installed them said that they will settle a little more as I drive around for the next couple of weeks. Does that sound right to all of you who have had these installed. Top picture is before, bottom is after

Yep, they will settle some....

They will settle a bit, making the car slightly lower. It sounds to me like you went with the Eibach Pro-kit for a subtle drop, instead of the Sportlines for a more substantial drop

I'm on Sportlines and they sit pretty low for springs. If you are adding a chin spoiler you have to be very very careful with curbs, speed bumps etc.

Looking good IMO!

Interesting.
I was thinking of going with the pro kit as well but this makes me think of going Sportlines.

Don't get me wrong I think what you did looks much better. Car is sitting tighter for sure!
How's the ride? Any odd clunking sounds or such? Been reading posts about issues after lowering. I know it's not common just wondering on your experience.

Common misconception with Eibach, but no, Eibach springs do not settle. Eibach springs do not have a settling period. Eibach has a unique manufacturing process that "presets" the springs after they're coiled to eliminate any settling after installation. Any settling and the end user experiences would come from the bushings settling/loading after the install.

If you're not liking the way that the springs look, jump up to the big boys and get some coilovers so you can adjust the ride height to where you want it.

yeah, I was surprised how little my pro-kit springs dropped the car, not quite an inch all around.

To be honest I haven't noticed any difference. I don't spend any time on the track so maybe they would feel different there but around town feels the same

That sounds very expensive

I have the Eibach prop kit and they did indeed drop about another 1/4" after a couple hundred miles and measuring again in the exact same parking space.
But yes the total drop was like 1 1/8" if I remember correctly, I have it written down and surely posted it before if you scroll my short post history, I just don't have it in front of me this moment

I had Pros on my GT and do on the Shelby. I love them, perfect stance in my opinion without giving up ride quality.
