Rear bumper / quarter panel gap matching
I had a bonehead that backed into my passenger quarter panel and bumper.
I've had it into the body shop twice now trying to get it looking better. I looks pretty good (never matched up perfectly, but pretty good) when I take it home. Get out of the car and the bumper and body aren't sitting in the same place and it looks like this:
If I push in on it, it looks better again and sits okay, until I drive around for awhile. The body shop guy says poor design of a plastic bumper. I say I'll bet someone on here knows a trick or two that we can use to make this look right.
Suggestions?

I took this back to the body shop a couple of times, the first time, they tried to secure the bumper a different way. That didn't work so great. The second time, they replaced the $16 bracket that holds the bumper in place. That fixed the problem. Looks great and holds itself in place correctly!
Just had to be persistent.
