Default Perelli P zero tires

Is anyone running the Perelli P zero summer only tire in the north east? I am considering the 2011 V-6 Premium with the soon to ba available performance package. The suspension upgrades are enticing but most of the reviews on the the Perelli P zero tires are less than positive. Price isn't listed for this package as of yet. Is this going to be a worthwhile factory upgrade?

They sork badly.
Dont go down in performance.
Factory Upgrade?
What are they 'upgrading' you from if P Zeros are considered an Upgrade?

The catalog lists a factory installed performance package for th V-6 that includes: a 3.31 rear end, GT F&R Stabilizer bars, GTR front struts & rear shocks and springs, Shelby GT lower control arm, GT F&R brake clipers, strut tower brace, unique electronic stability control, plus the Perilli tires.

He is talking about the "summer only" p-zeros... those only come on the "track pack" Mustangs. The all-season and summer-only Pirelli's are great tires.

The all-season P-Zeros are satisfactory tires in the summer and do well in the winter IF your car is garaged whenever it snows. They SUK in bad weather, period. Put the summer tires on it and then drive in the winter and you DESERVE to become part of a tree or pole.

Ive driven over 40,000 miles in Saint Louis summers and icy winters with no issues at all. My current commute is about 40 miles per day. Just depends on what your used to.

I'm just going to play it on the safe side this winter in MI and pick up some steelies and snow tires. I'm sure the AS pirelli p-zero neros would do fine, but why risk it?

im fine with my pzeros
theyre a little hard which makes them not too ideal for the auto-x course or the track but in real life theyre a decent tire

I love how the guys that drive their Stangs on plowed, treated highways and side streets in metropolitan areas beat their chests about how great their Stangs are in the snow. These are the people that have no idea what REAL winter driving is and how god-awful a Stang (or any low-sitting, rear wheel drive vehicle) can be on hideous unplowed roads.

+1
wHATS A SNOW PLOW?
i HAVE never SEEN ONE AROUND HERE.
fricken caps lock
Around here, they dont care if there is 1 inch or 2 feet of snow
on the roads. It has to melt away before it is gone...

Nothing can be driven in snow much deeper than the
available ground clearance for any given vehicle.

Older Volkswagons are notoriously good snow vehicles
UNTIL the snow is deeper than the available ground clearance.
They then become unstearable otters sliding on the snow...
