Trinity's Travels

She has been amazing...period. LOVE my car...I catch myself smiling at random times during the day and while I'm driving!

 

Congrats, Trinity, on your new Mustang. I also own a 2011 V6 auto, and I love it. Over the past month, I've been getting between 27.5 and 29 mpg average, with highway mpgs of 30 to 34 (depending on traffic). But when I need my car to flex it's 305 hp engine, and mash down the accelerator, it's like my car says to me, "thank you, may I have another?"

Do you have any intention on modding it? I've got a few things planned.

• Custom tune from American Muscle
• Magnaflow or Flowmaster exhaust
• High-flow cats, or a cat-removal
• C&L CAI
• New rear axle gearing. I haven't decided on 3.31, 3.73, or 4.10. I need more research on the impact on fuel economy before I decide.

 

Thank you! Too often do I mash down on the accelerator! I love everything about doing that...the pull, the sound, the feel! Trinity doesn't help...she keeps egging me on. LoL! So, my mpg isn't near as good.

I am being patient about any mods. Here's my list:

-Flowmaster Exhaust
-Rear Axle Gearing
-HALO headlights
-Fog lights (can't make up my mind on which to get though! They have to match the HALOs!)

I'm sure there is more. That's just what I may do in the next year. I'm paying her payment right now... and need to get going on my student loans. So, little by little. Great to hear from you! Keep me updated on your mods and what you find out!
