This post was reported to me and I am here watching....

Lets play nice and be civil. So far it hasn't gotten out of hand. Lets keep it that way.

As an owner of a Shelby GT500 I have seen many V6 and GT Mustangs upgraded with complete Shelby kits to include Cobra emblems. I have no issue with it as long as the owner does not try and intentionally represent it as a Shelby when asked.

I don't make anyone's payments but my own. Do with YOUR car as YOU wish. just represent it correctly when asked....

The cars in this thread look great guys!! Mod away... that's what these cars were born to be....modded

But dad!!!!!!!! haha

IMO, and this is just my opinion - fender badging, Faux Gas caps, and grille emblems are representing the car. If you have a 6, fine, dont put the 5.0 emblem on the side (even if it is free), or if you have a 5.0 dont put Cobra badges on it. That is my definition of misrepresentation. But again just my 2 cents. I dont think anyone should be running to the mods because they didnt like other peoples opinion.

If the tires you are using are the Pirelli tires from the dealer then it was your tires and possibly a newb had his a/c on just before you went down the track and you hit some water. I tried going down the track back when I was stock and the best I could run was a 9.9 in the 1/8th due to spinning through every gear. I switched to the sumitomos and my time went to a 8.9. If you want to hit the track again id get a set of wheels with some drag radials so you have a better chance of making sure this doesn't happen again. Btw its better to let off when your spinning.
