Default BBK Headers available

I called BBK and they are taking orders. Part numbers are as follows.

Chrome 1642: $489.99
Ceramic 16420: $609.99
Need x pipe: 1461: $469.99

Plus having dealer install: $500.00 (or so)

So how many of you will be doing this?

I have read that this should add about 25 to 30 hp.

With a CAI and a tune already maybe a bit more.

I might. How about you?

Come spring I'm on this, though I'll probably wait for kooks and dyno results from both

Thumbs up

Thanks, 11v6! This is the board at its best, info posted first here.

Those prices look like list and will be discounted some. Historically the BBKs need cleanup of the welds with a grinder at the flanges. One reason the ARH and Kooks articles are more ex$pen$ive.

From what I understand if you get short headers you will not need the X pipe howerver you will not get as much power from them. If you get the long headers then you need the rest of it, X pipe, and that is where the power will come from getting new headers.

Plus cost of install.

Allot of money but, like everyone says, it cost to play.
And besides, it's something to be proud of and say,
I Made It Mine.

So from OP's estimation, around $1500 to get it done.

Procharger will be between $4500-$5500. I would rather save that $1500 and put towards the supercharger

I feel similarly especially because we really do not know what the gains will be if you already have other performance mods like an intake. So for $1500 you might only end up with 10-15hp additional and you will definitely need a tune to go with it to optimize gains.

Don't you want both, headers and the supercharger? They're not mutually exclusive like a turbo. In fact, they complement each other, the headers will increase the efficiency of SC.
