Default G Tech SS

Anyone familiar with the G Tech SS performance meter. It's supposed to do lots of things but I got it to get an idea about the quarter mile and 0 to 60 mph times of my car. I went to a quarter mile track with less than 150 miles on it and it went 14.76 at just under 98 mph. Well the track closed for good at the end of the season, and the next closest quarter mile is Cordova in northern IL. Well since I've made a couple of changes from stock I was wondering? I've had to do my checking with a stopwatch, not a reliable method I know, 0 to 60 times have dropped about 1.3 to 1.4 saconds. So I bought this thing and have only tried it once but came up with 13.42 at 103.9 which seems quite optimistic to me. Does anyone besides me even own one of these, by the way it does use GPS technology.

If all you did was the 3.55 gears and the tune I think picking up 1.3 seconds is way too much. On the other hand 14.8 is too slow for the car to begin with. Maybe you have just warmed up to driving it?

Well maybe the car is learning how I like to drive like they said it would. The second time I took it to a track, eighth mile, my two time trials were in the 9.70s and my two rounds the car went quicker every round, got down to a 9.56 on the last run.

Your right, took the car out yesterday and tried it again on two different roads, went 13.75 on one and 13.82 on the other. That's more like I was expecting, oh yes at just over 101 MPH.
