Just an FYI since I've been driving around with my JLT oil separator for about 1500 miles. I decided to check it, and it was about half full, so I figure its capacity is good for about 3000 miles.

I think that is why these things don't come as OEM parts from Ford. The average driver would probably drive & fill up the can until the PCV valve would no longer work. Especially since oil change intervals are now longer.

Of course we're not the average drivers here, and taking a minute to check the catch can isn't a problem for us.

Good luck!

Yes I think 3000 miles is about right. I'm really glad I have mine.

When you look at what is in the can, its not just oil, but gasoline too, and looks like watered down oil. Since the amount is fairly small, it gets thrown away. If you change your own oil it could easily be put into the recycle container.

Absolutely not a problem. I can have it for you Monday. Do you want black or silver? I do not know if you remember seeing mine, but it is silver. Depending on what you want, black will blend in more with the engine and silver will stand out a little better. Just let me know.

I've been really busy and getting ready to travel later next week, so I'm sorry I haven't been able to set up lunch with you. Might be able to hook up tomorrow.
