The engine light came on the day before safety inspection.
(good to return to stock when going to dealership,a light might come on)
The tool for engine tick is in and they told wife,light has to do with cams,cams gear or cam gears switching.Sounds like they are dancing around a little. I will call first of week.
Has anyone else had engine light on for this,and what do others think?

We have no codes. Did not use the SCT for codes. The wife took the car to the dealership for yearly inspection and the engine light came on the night before. The dealership was the ones that told the wife they were ording the parts and she asked what the problem was? They told her it was to do with the cams, or the cam gears not going into place when the gears are shifting.
