Mod suggestions for a newbie?
Yeah, if you own a Harley, you'll notice the similarity in experience. The aftermarket is huge and there are lots of ways to modify and make the car fairly unique and definitely yours. AM is a great place to buy items for a decent price and good customer service.
They have a few exterior upgrades out for our cars. Several different grill options, front chin spoilers, etc. I really like the California Special front bumper, but then you're talking about painting, etc. The oem foglights are a real nice addition, but a little bit rich for my blood.
Then you have the different decal kits that look great on our rides. My dad's GT and v6 both have flat black accents on the hood and rear decklid, and they make them for the doors too. I'll try and dig up a pic or vid for ya! BTW, congrats on the new ride, so far it's been a great car for me!
Edit: Heres a vid from the track this past weekend
If you pause it at the right time you can see the few add-ons he's done. Chin spoiler, fog lights, billet grill, badges, 08 model CS wheels, and the "decals". Its also a cai/tune/flowmaster axleback car, sounds pretty good!

I'm all about suspension & tires. Swing by uprproducts.com and check out the suspension options we offer for your new V6. As has already been stated, these cars respond very well to suspension upgrades.

A chin spoiler might be on my list next spring -- looks cool. Adds an aggressive look to the vehicle.

Thanks, man, I'm looking forward to it. I'll definitely go with some sort of decals -- probably hood spears. I'm thinking white, but maybe silver. I ordered my car with the tape stripe delete, but after seeing some pics on this site I'm beginning to like 'em. I doubt I'll do much more with large decals just yet, though. I might go with a custom painted pony emblem for the grill -- expensive but they look great, and I want my car to look personalized too. And of course in the spring I'll do a tune with a CAI. Not sure about gears, though. I'm not that handy with a wrench and the thought of paying to have it done just doesn't make much financial sense. Besides, I'm not all that into speed and g-forces. The older I get the slower I want to go.

Yeah, thats not the most flattering vid for his car, lol. He went from 2nd to 5th, back to 3rd, lmao. The flowmaster setup is one of the best sounding IMO. As for gears, they are an absolute must for me, personally.
But, then again, my stepdad owns a transmission shop, and my brother works for him, so gears will cost me about $200
The cai/tune that must go with the gears (tuner anyways) is another $600, hence why I havent done the gears yet, lol
