Default My christmas present install

So my car already had MRT axle backs and an MMR intake with a custom SCT Tune done by a local tuner. For christmas I decided to install BBK long tube headers with off road xpipe and a ford racing 3.55 rear.

Here are some pics of the install.

After the install he retuned the car with the SCT to see what we could get from the new mods. In 2010 we tested the car in this same dyno and the numbers stock were 240whp y 223wtq in a mustang dyno. After the axle backs, intake and tune, they were 263whp y 242wtq, an increase of 23whp y 19wtq. After the headers, xpipe, diff, and retune, the numbers were 285whp y 256wtq for an increase of 22whp y 14wtq. All the runs were done in 4th gear.

This is a run in 5th gear. 288whp y 268wtq

1/4 mile simulator, I took it easy so as to try and not spin the wheels on the dyno so the numbers could be even better

I am very happy so far, and still have plans for more mods. Lets see what happens.

Congrats! That's good numbers. With so many things done at once I bet it feels like a whole new car. How is the exhaust sound with long tubes and an off road pipe? Any drone ?

it is LOUD, at low rpms its not loud at all but when you get on it all hell breaks loose. For now I am keeping it like this, if it starts to bother me ill install some high flow resonators.

Here are some youtube videos of the car:

Very nice. I can't get started on mods fast enough.
Shop is outside of San Juan, I went to San Juan for vacation a couple of years ago. Beautiful and relaxing there. Stayed at the San Juan Water and Beach Club. Would love to go back again.

wow, wee, that is loud! as a thought, my coworker had an 05 gt when they first came out. he put an off road x pipe on it and had flowmasters. that was very very loud. so he put the stock muffs back on and it sounded great! you might try that, just to see what it sounds like..

again, awesome man!
