Default Lowering springs

Well for my next mod I plan to lower my car a little with the help of some lowering springs.

I was thinking of going with either the eibach pro-kit or the ford racing ones

I was looking at the ford racing ones here: http://www.fordracingpartsdirect.com...p/m-5300-n.htm

And it says I need some other parts to make them fit. Is this true?

Here ya go man: http://www.uprproducts.com/mustang-e...prings-05.html

Our Pro Series springs are made by Eibach, they carry a lifetime guarantee, and they spec out the same at Eibach's Pro Kit springs. I've got them on my car and I love them!

You should also consider an adjustable panhard bar at the very least, to center the rear end after the drop:

^^Made in America, Lifetime Guarantee, and you get a 10% discount through MF!

UPR even though you say Eibach manufactures your springs you state your drop is a lot more than theirs. Is there a reason for this?

To be completely honest with you, we just used the numbers they gave us. Our page says 1.3F, 1.4R. Eibach's page says .8F/1.2R. I'm inclined to say that .8F/1.2R is more accurate since the springs dropped my GT roughly 1.3F/1.4R.

Do I need to install anything else with the springs? I am planning to buy them from you since they are according to you the same eiback pro kit springs but you have better pricing.

It would corner a little faster with upgraded struts and shocks, but they are not necessary.

You might consider adding an adjustable panhard bar to keep the rear end centered under the car after the drop, but that is also not absolutely necessary.

Here's the one I'm using on my car:

^^it's $135 with the MF discount.

I have the eibach pros and like them a lot. They make a huge difference in stance and feel. Shocks are a good idea to do with springs as they are there together. If you get shocks then I had to get front top shock mounts. Ford Racing (FRPP) M-18183-C 2011 Mustang GT500 Track Pack style Front Strut Mounts are like $89 or so.

You will also want to get the 1 degree camber bolt with springs change. Plus UPR is right you will want an adjustable panhard bar to center your rear end back up. If you have the scratch then you can get the upper pan hard brace while you are up in there replacing things.

Also note you will have to get your car realigned. That is not free. :P The whole deal is expensive but this is one of the biggest mods you can do for your car's handling.

You can see all these mods here.

What is good about the FRPP line is that they offer different spring rates, not just the drop. So you can fine tune, want softer (lower spring rate) springs in front? Use the "B" series, want a much stiffer front? Use the "C" series. Etc, etc. they offer several kits.
I used the softer "B" series springs because I also have the adjustable Koni shocks & struts. The Konis have pretty stiff valving and the softer spring rate helps give me a LOT of ride adjustment.
