One intake isn't necessarily better than the other so the real choice is which one looks the best sitting next to your engine.

What Kona said - I wanted to get the airaid but they were out of that back in Nov/Dec as well, so I got the JLT+Bama Tuner (about $40 cheaper then the airaid/tuner combo).

It's not the carbon fiber look they had at one time, but just a matt black tube, but it certainly works fine.

Video install guide for you to check out of the install.

I watched it twice, went out to my car, and had the old airbox out and the new CAI installed in under 20 minutes - 10 minutes after that w/ the tuner sitting in the front seat watching bars crawl by - then voila new feeling car!

Only the Steeda and maybe another one requires a tune. Could a different tune be written, sure, and probably should. But if one doesnt want to tune their car, but still have the intake, they can.

I have the JLT myslef. I love it! I will probably end up painting the tube gloss black, to dress it up a bit, but no real qualms with it at all!

Heres my dyno vid, it really lets you hear how the intake screams up top!
