Default Which mod next?

Hello guys just got a v6 mustang last week and have already added muffler & CAI. I have an extra $400 and was thinking about upgrading the coils with Accel Super Coil On Plug Kit (11-13 V6) or get the Bama SF3/X3 Power Flash Tuner w/ 3 Free Custom Tunes.

Seems like I would want to increase spark as I've up'ed the intake and exhaust but I'm a computer guy not a auto-whiz so any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks
G-man

I would do the Tuner 1st, it will adjust for your existing CAI and also any exhaust changes (did you just do a new axleback or did you add a new midpipe too?), and if you get the Plugs later, you can get a new tune that will adjust for the new plugs as well. You'll see bigger gains from the Tuner + the existing CAI, than adding just plugs right now.

I am tempted to pull the trigger on those plugs since they are discounted this month. They were not on my mod list, but have slid into it now..

Yes, it was because they were on sale is why I also moved them up the list. I'll order the tuner.
Thanks!

yes it was just the axleback, did you see a big boost with mid-pipes?

Thats my next plans, complete exhaust overhaul from headers all the way to the butt.

I am not sure of the gains (if any besides weight reduction) That axleback exhaust and any midpipe would give (further you go to the front with opening it up tho, the more gains I'd expect to see), until you actually did headers too (maybe some slight gains - seems to me though the car still isn't breathing out 'better' until new headers go in.) I'm open to hearing otherwise and seeing definite dyno gains tho w/o headers. (Someone will pitch in!) Might cause me to slap my axlebacks on before I redo it all.. (Flowmaster II's.)
