new 2013

fastforAPONY,
Congratulations on the 13', they are amazing machines!
I don't see a problem with going WOT, we had our cars at the track before the truck left that dropped them off LOL.
However there is a proper break in period, most people say about 1,500-2,000 range.
You can definitely get a tune now, The 13' really wakes up with a CAI & Tune! You will see gains of 35+RWHP with just those two modifications!!!
Here's a little eye candy for you
2013 GT CAI & Tune Dyno Pulls
Let me know if I can be of any assistance!

Thanks guys,
Nice to know that you can run them hard right out of the box! I am hitting it a little harder now.
Used my Track apps. yesterday 0-60 6.4. I know I could have done better, still holding back a little...
Yes Dan they are amazing, thanks for the congrats too.
JimC that looks like a 2013 red front end?

That was the 2013 - not great times. It was >98 degrees that day and the IAT was running 110 and I was on street tires (but not sure that made much difference that day). I still have the stock 2.73 gears and the best I could get out of the car that day was a 15.0 at 93 mph. Very slow coming out with the 2.73 gears. But the point was to get some baselines before starting the mods and the time slips show that once the car gets rolling it picks up pretty good at the 1/8 mark.
Went back the next weekend and the weather was a little cooler but still upper 80's and humid. But the car improved to a 14.9 at 96 mph. Plus I was getting better at figuring out how to launch it that day.
Hopefully next week I get my tunes from American Muscle (the 2013 automatic tunes have been delayed while they get the transmission with select shift tuning set up properly) and will be on drag radials with a tune next time out.
