anyone have auto tranny problems?
Took my '11 V6 auto in the dealership with a long hesitation going into gear to drive or reverse. I have the Bama tuner and airraid CAI that stays on the 91 octane tune. I put it back to stock and the problem was still there and left it that way for the dealership. They called today and said it was the shifter solinoids that were bad! Thank God it was still under powertrain warranty..38000 miles on it. Anyone have this problem? I honestly dont think the Bama tuner had anything to do with it tho but could be wrong.

I'm glad to hear that the dealership is taking care of the issue under warranty. We've never had any issues with the Auto trans when running a Bama tune! Our tunes are actually easier on the Trans then the stock settings because of the Firmer, Faster and Optimized shift points.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Dan, thanks for the quick reply. I didnt think the tuner would be hard on the tranny cause like you say, firmer, harder shifts creates less heat in the transmission. Just didnt know if it was something electrical or computer malfunction causing the problem. It was only doing it every once and a while. If warranty didnt cover it I was going to do a fluid/filter change and add a bottle of Lucas to it! Im kind old school and not up on these computer controls everything. I cant wait to get it back and get the 91 octane tune in it again...kinda spoiled me over the stock tune!!

I had issues with my tranny not shifting properly and took it to local Dealer. The dealer said that there was a TB on it and that there was a software upgrade for the trans. They said they installed it and since then I have had no issues with the shifting.
