Default BBK LT fitment

Sup guys,

My exhaust set up for my car is BBK Catted X-pipe with Magnaflow Street Competition Series. If were to add the BBK Long Tube Headers with my set up, would it fit perfectly?

My understanding it no, the long tubes replace the cats and you would have to use the shorter x-pipe.

If you want to keep what you already have you would need to use the equal length tuned shorties for best performance.

Headers.

Do you have any suggestions on a brand?

If you are set on BBKs, go for the pair I linked. They make them in an equal length shorty style.

The BBK catted X-pipe is specificly made to fit with the BBK LT headers and they will not fit the stock headers. Nor will the LT headers fit without the BBK x-pipe (catted or not). That's why they are called long tube headers.

Wrong.

The BBK catted x-pipe is for factory manifolds or shorty headers. He already has the BBK catted x-pipe installed with the factory manifolds.

The BBK x-pipe made for the long tubes DOES NOT have cats. That is where the long tube comes in.

If you want to install the LT's you need to change the X-Pipe for the Shorty one with Cats (I assume you still want the Cats).

I installed the BBK LTs in my car like one month ago.

Nice, I didn't realize they had the catted pipes to mate to the longtubes now.

OK, does anyone make shorties for the 3.7L? I haven't found any yet, but I really liked shorties on my last car. Nice power gain, and not too loud.
