Default erratic idle

I have a 2013 PP V6 with a 6 speed manual trans,
since new in December of 2012 when it warms up the idel jumps around a bit, driving me crazy sitting at red lights, It bounces from around 750 to 600 ish, the other day it was raining like hell and went down to about 500. It never goes above 750 just drops around a bit. This has been happening like I said sence new, The day after i picked it up I did put in a K&N air filter. Last weekend I put in a BBK 73mm TB and a BBK CAI, During the install I did take a close look at the MAS and it looked good. Did not see any oil from the K&N at all. I just ordered headers and a BAMA tune, Will the new tune take care of this or should I take it to the dealer and let them look at it prior to the install of the headers and tune, Any feed back is apperciated

You should have had the dealer look at it before replacing the throttle body/CAI.

You could have a bad injector, or an electrical problem in the engine harness.

(I hate computer-controlled engines.)

When you're getting the strange idle, did you have the AC on? That can cause it to jump around a bit, but usually with the cycling of the compressor.

Since tune, sometimes mine will idle at ~600 RPM with the A/C on, and ~750 RPM with the A/C off. In both cases it's nice and steady at those speeds though.

I does not matter if the A/C is on or not. Live in Michigan so no A/C in december LOL needed now though

I was hoping the CAI and TB would take care of this. I hate taking the car into the dealer,

The dealer will likely give you chit for the aftermarket TB (which does nothing, really. The stock TB can handle more air than a mildly modded engine can ingest) and the CAI. If you want it fixed, return to stock and take it in for warranty work before you fawk something up.

Took it to the dealer this morning, I did not return to stock ( I'm kinda lazy today), they said nothing just did an update to the computer, seems a little better I'll drive it a few days and see what happens

My 2013 PP does exactly the same thing. Almost a rough idle at times. I've had it to the dealer twice and got the typical "we can't duplicate the problem" line even-though they saw it do it. After 15,000 miles and no other issues, I've just decided to deal with it and accept it...

Thinking the same thing here, Just got my Borla headers and my tune from AM, Ill try and get installed as soon as I get some time, hoping this might take care of it with the new tune, Will update some time next week or so and let ya know the out come

my 07 pony package did the same thing. ive got 900 miles on my performance package 2013 and it seems fine; i still understand the few moments where i get the idle dropping and rising from time to time. Nothing really to do about it. as long as it runs fine otherwise.
