i dont want them on while it is in drive and my car for some reason does not have the auto light switch. how can i get them turned off.

 

You can't.

The front LEDs will be as long as your car is in gear. Unplugging them is the only way to make it stop.

 

RedLavaDriver says it is a 2012, so he doesn't have the 2013 LED's in the headlights like your car Murgatroy. (and red lava color wasn't available for 2013)

What specific lights are you referring to RedLava?

 

Good point, I forgot about the difference in the older headlights.

 

Pictures please just post pictures of what lights your talking about. Like I said in your other post the headlights will come on if you have the automatic headlight setting. If the car senses its to dark they come on. If its the running lights those just come on when the cars in gear like the others said. Pretty sure even the 2012s have some kind of lights that come on when they drive.

Also does it have fog lights and is the switch pulled out cause that would make them come on.

Oh and your title says running lights will not go off. That is right they don't they are always on when the car is in gear for safety.

 

I wonder if he is getting out of the car and leaving the door open, the parking lights are on then on mine so probably his too.

I just got a 2013 Mustang. How do I set the automatic lights? I believe I have the delux package, with leather seats, Ford sync, and LED lighting.

 

Does it have Fog lights? No Fog Lights no auto lamps.

You can actually by the light switch for about $30. Takes 20 minutes to install. I have an extra one since I bought the starsky foglight harness. Hit me up if your interested. By default only the Pony Package V6s have that option.
