Default 2011 drive shaft

recently purchased a 2011 convertible. I have read a lot about the drive shaft not being so great. since I plan on keeping the car for a long time would it be wise to replace the driveshaft ? the car is just for cruising no hard driving.it will see some interstate driving, 75 -80 mph. I don't mind the cost, I just want to be safe. thanks ,scott

You would be fine without an aluminum driveshaft but, go ahead and change it. I had no problems with my factory driveshaft but changed to an aluminum one 'for peace of mind'. I did noticed the aluminum driveshaft was smoother and more quiet than the factory one

75-80 you should be fine. I've had mine up to 120 and it is still holding together. Allegedly, these are speed limited to 112 MPH because of the driveshaft. There is a video on youtube of a guys breaking apart at 135..you should check it out.

Daily driver, don't waste the money. Racing, hard launches, different story.

My car is a stick, and I was amazed how much difference it made. Not sure if I'd bother on an automatic.
