Default mid pipe recommendation

So I've been looking into mid pipes but I'm not sure who to turn to, can anyone make a recommendation? Catted or O/R, X or H, brand? I want to keep the throaty muscle sound without sacrificing too much power. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I say Stock, or the FRPP Cut and Clamp X-Pipe that leaves your emissions alone.
No matter what you decide make sure you keep the old one so when you sell it they can have it.Selling a Car without all the Emission Controls leaves you open to major fines.
I would also do Short tube Headers, since it is the only option that is 50 state legal and does not give you unwanted drone and rasp from removing the cats and resonators.

Yeah I have the shorties and love them. I'll definitely make sure I hold on to the stocks though I didn't know that thanks!!!
