As you know I have a 86 notch with a 357 I wanna replace my hooker super comps with some new ones which longtube headers do I need I checked in Summit and jegs and nothing specified for a 351w on ly 302w . Will they work also ???? I have a c-4 also I know BBk dosent make a long tube header for my application and I cant afford a set of kooks right now

do you remember the part number of your current headers?

 

no they were in the car when i got them if it still on the headers where would it be on te flange i guess

 

good question, im swapping my tremec out for a power glide, because i dont want to spend the money to have it sent off to have it pro shifted so it will go in gear at high RPMs, but it sure is fun[8D]with a 5 speed!!!!!
if your running a C-4 , you shouldnt have a big problem, with the bbk 351 headers
if you where running a c6, id say ya, because the pan is bigger and you would run into problems.
all headers are different, make it work.

 

im not saying that the bbk 351 fox body headers will work, because i dont know!!!!!
but ill find out if they will work with a power glide or not .. soon

 

well right now I have hooker 6225-1hrk with the port plates in between the head and header flange

I was looking at hooker 6223-1hrk tha tare made for 79-93 foxes with windsor or dart headshopefully those will work

 

well, im putting together an 86 GT let me know what headers are gonna work so i can get them too!!

well the 6223-1hkr are for dart and windsor heads only
