i have a 351 in my stang i was beating my budy's 302 till he got nos, now he gets me more than i used to get him how big of a shot of nitro can i go on the stock lower 351w??

 

how much do you need? on a stock 351, 100 would be iffy for me, but im not too big on NOS

 

I'm running a 80 on a beat to hell 302 and its fine. If your engine is in decent condition you'll be fine with a 100 shot and you blow his doors away like no other.

 

id go 60 shot with cast pistons . just dont know if i would chance 100 shot . my friend shot has 351w cast piston with a 175 shot , it was bad for a week , then had oil rings in the pan. and had to rebuild,

 

If you don't go lean on the tune you can go 150 depending on what year motor. If it is a later motor with the hyper pistons you can go 150 with stock internals. just don't get greedy and try to lean it out. Keep the tune pretty fat. If it is a late 80's or older and has cast pistons don't step much over 100. It won't live long. If the motor is worn out then don't try either unless you have the funds for a total replacement.

Mr Fall Auto I know nothing about Nitrous, can you run it with high compersion? Iam asking you because I see you are a Nitrous dealerand well experianced it that area.Iam thinking about it for my car.The intake is already tapped for a fogger and fuel system is in place just that my motor is 13:5.1 N/A.
