what the compression on a stock 351 windsor?

really depends on what year and what car thew block came from, remember, the 351 was made from the 60's to the 90's, thats 30 years

i'd still think it would depend on what the engine came out of. some of the HO 351's had higher compression. Some in the trucks were lower.

I got mine from a 1986 ford f150. it came with a holley and had an air cleaner that said 351 HO. I'm assuming that it had higher compression and would guess it was still below 10:1.

I've got 10.25:1 now.

what are you doing with the motor? My guy said that i can not 'blow or nos' my motor as it stands due to head gaskets and compression being bumped over 12/13 to 1 will be a problem.
