compression

RE: compression
i'd still think it would depend on what the engine came out of. some of the HO 351's had higher compression. Some in the trucks were lower.
I got mine from a 1986 ford f150. it came with a holley and had an air cleaner that said 351 HO. I'm assuming that it had higher compression and would guess it was still below 10:1.
I've got 10.25:1 now.
what are you doing with the motor? My guy said that i can not 'blow or nos' my motor as it stands due to head gaskets and compression being bumped over 12/13 to 1 will be a problem.
