what cam will work better with this combo? there both well matched but i want to know for sure.

edelbrock 210cc heads
edelbrock jr. victor intake (rpm range 3500-7500)
750cfm barry grant speed demon carb
cams: XE 294 (rpm range 2800-7000) FW 305 (rpm range 3000-7000) both by comp cams and hydraulic flat tappet



i was leaning towards the Fw 305...........what size torque converter should i get? 3000 or 3500?

its a nice combo but will cost you tons o $, Driving on the streets would be a waste of time having no low end at all, Drag car = good combo, street car = bad combo, also, those heads will probably require your pistons to be notched.

 

well my goal is to run 12 flat / high 11's with a combo but still be able to drive on the street. then i want to hit it w/ a 150 wet shot of nitrous to get some low 11's
