351w shortblock from CHP
What do you think about CHP's street fighter-pro street shortblocks? http://www.coasthigh.com/Assemblies/Ford/ford_408w.htm
Does anybody know what kind of blocks are used or how much power they can handle? That's what I really need to know.
My plan is to go TT so I want something that can at least handle a bit of boost, and Dart blocks are looking too expensive.
I was told I should get an SVO Sportsman block A351 and that it could handle 1200rwhp, but I've been looking and can't even find them.
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

RE: 351w shortblock from CHP
They just said "Ford 351 windsor block" and that's as much as he would specify, so I'm assuming it's a production block.
Man I'm almost tempted to just get the one with the Dart sportsman block instead and just cough up the 1500 for it.
I was told a Dart Sportsman block could handle 2000hp is that true?
What about World Products' Man o'War blocks? How much can they handle?

Do you plan on building an engine with 2000 hp? If you look around you should be able to find a 351 block in good cond. for a couple hundred bucks. Take it to a machine shop and you will basically have a new block.
