well ya there is the right way and the wrong way, but there are also sub categories like, what parts, torque specs, fasteners, compression, gaskets, balancing rods, and many many more

basicallytriple check everything use extra lube triple check all tolerances make sure you use a reputable machine shop, if possible go with a setup thats been tried and proven, use common sense and for gods sake, do not build the engine get it back together then fire it up and forget to put oil in it, heard of it happening to a man at a local speed shop, don't know if its true or not but i wouldn't want to find out.
