What is your setup N/A???
I keep reading everyones posts and I am realizing that I dont need a supercharger to achieve my goals (400's rwhp). So I am wanting to know what setups you guys are running N/A. from stock 351W to all strokers. If I need to tear into my block, then a smaller stroker is considered. Just tell me what you got. I do plan on having fuel injection for reliability on the street day to day. Looking for guidance in the right direction. I am starting to plan my build that will start in either January or February.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your help.
Mine is def. not a dd. I have a 357 with 11.1 comp.stage 2 ported TF's, Diamond Racing Pistons, forged I-beam rods,Vic jr intake, holley hp 750, custom grind cam spec's with 1.7 TF RR: lift is 625/661 and dur @ .050 is 246/259. Built susp. and drivetrain. Gas mileage for me is around 6 mpg
If it is a street car and not a daily driver, why worry about MPG? Sort of like my 502 engine in my boat and everyone telling me about how bad it does on gas, if I gave a crap I would sell the boat and get a Gayliner. MPG should not be a concern if it is a weekend car you cruise in. Well, that is the way I look at it.
Jasperstang308 and FASTBLACK I appreciate your responses. Nice setup, but a little more than what I need. To clarify, this car will be driven more often than not. As long as its not bad weather, then the Stang will come out to play, so thats why I dont want to be getting 6 mpg. I understand what youre saying jvschle, but I am not gonna be racing all day everyday. I just want to be able to swat the annoying rice flies away.
393Bird that is an AMAZING setup!!! Props to you foryour hard work and creativity with the car. The motor setup is a little more than what I need but do like it. What were your power #'s before the Vortech? I am also assuming that your bottom end is forged.
