You mean adjust your rockers? With stud mounted you can stud girdle and prevent rocker back off.

I got girdles on my 408 with a solid roller, I don't know exactly how long they will hold the back off of the rockers off but you will know when they are backed off. Sounds like a bad lifter. With the solid roller you should have a rev limiter on the car cause if you miss a shift at high RPM and mash the gas your gonna spin 9 or 10grand. I built mine to make power up to 7200 with the cam but set the limiter at 7400 since the intake and heads are good till 7500.

Funny story, had it on the road for half an hour thing runs crazy fast. 245/50/16s will spin in 3rd without a problem by just mashing the gas over 3500 rpm. But couple of problems.

1.) Zoom gives you a plastic piolet bearing with their stage 4 clutch which was a little suspect to me but we stuck it in
2.) Missing a shift to 3rdat 6500 and hitting 5th gear makes pieces out of your 5th gears
3.) Making pieces and limping the car home eats synchros
4.) Eating synchros causes mis alignment of the internals of the trans which eats plastic piolet bearings

So its off the road right now, rebuit the trans agian got a 5th gear from astro performance so the entire trans is now completly new from them, new blow proof bell, and new brass piolet bearing. I want to get it to a dyno but it being in pieces sort of stops that

The girdles will prevent rockers from backing off. It is a great invention. Before those it wa a couple of times a month issue.
