351w EFI Intake help
im looking for a stroked 408w9.5 deck intake for a sn95 setup that operates in the 1500-6500 rpm range
will be a daily driver with8 psi from2x eaton m90s/c's afr 205 heads custom grind roller cam hoping to make
500hp, does not have to pass emissions. will be a daily driver and has to be reliable.
i was hoping to get the edelbrock victor jr efi intake but can't seem to find a link for it, has to be a sn95 setup
(with the bend) and has to clear the stock hood, i was considering the spyder but i'd much rather have the
edelbrock name brand.. any links would be greatly appreciated.

if you run roller rockers, you will need a taller valve cover, which in turn will require you to run a spacer on the intake, which will require you to get a taller hood
trust me.... buy a hood

I have a 3/8 spacer and stock hood. You need to run 83 vert motor mounts (not the Ford replacement). With the victor spider style intake you will clear with the elbow. Just run the vert mounts or modify the ford replacement mounts. You can also install spacers between the -k-member for some added clearance. I have had a TFS intake under the stock hood of my S-351 with its factory motormounts. I even had a Hogans sheetmetal intake on it for awhile. For the rpm range and the fit I would say either a TFS or the victor

I appreciate the posts, since i can't find an edelbrock victor jr intake in EFI for the 351w, and the chpspyder intake is $750, i've decided to buy an edelbrockrpm air-gapcarb intake, its designed for stroker 400+ windsors operating in the 1500-6500 range, i just need tomachine the injector bosses, rig up a vaccum source, get an aftermarket fuel rail and fab up my own elbow for the throttle body, guess its time to put my fabrication and welding skills to the test, thanks everyone, really appreciate the suggestions.
If you read my post it states don't use the Ford replacement mount which is the sn95 mount. The original mounts (part number E3ZZ) were shorter and let the engine set down further. In the late 80's they revised the mounts (E7ZZ and E9ZZ partnumbers)again which sat the engine up higher. It was still shorter than the hardtop mount. Ford then quit offering it and as a replacement offers the SN 95 (F4ZZ) mount. Thus, do not use the Ford replacement. They are not the same height as the original 83 vert mounts. Edelbrock offers a efi victor intake like the spyder in there catalog with the bosses already there. So does Professional products. its just a heavier copy of the edelbrock. Its also no where near as expensive as the spyder from CHP. Edelbock even offers the fuel rail kitif I am not mistaken.
