I want to piece together a nice combo for my street car. Heres what I had in mind:

1968 351w block bored 0.040 over with new cam & main bearings
stock 3.500" crank
stock rods with arp bolts
Keith black hyp. pistons (10.8.1)
Old 1966 ford 289 heads (54cc chambers) w/heavily ported intake and exhaust ports, 1.94 int. /1.60 exh. valves and a 5 angle valve job
Hedman 1 3/4" longtube headers
Edelbrock rpm intake manifold
Holley 4150 750 CFM carb with mech. secondarys

Does this sound like it would be a good running 351 or should I do something diff.

Do you think this motor is capable of producing 350rwhp or more ?

If you can get better heads and cam it would ake 350rwhp

sorry, I din't tell you what cam it has: Its a crane solid roller with 228 int./230 exh. duration at 0.050" and 550/565 lift

that cam is gunna to want to breathe! I still suggest better heads.

i'd worry about the cam before i worried about the heads, but in the end heads would be a good boost.

ive got a picture of a kieth black piston here some where, that will make you re think using there hyper pistons.

I know there pistons are junk but I got them at a swap meet a while back for $100.00 new in the box. Its not going to have any kind of a power adder on it, so thats a plus for the hypers.
