My car is stiff in 1st and 2nd gear sometimes and ive adjusted the clutch properly to half inch of play at top and fluid is full so what could it be? it doesnt grind except in reverse a little

 

explain stiff? as it doesnt want to come out of gear? or its hard shifting?

 

I had that tipe of trans before and the same thing hap to me,If im you i get a new trans and sell that one before you snap the gears trust me....A friend had the same trans too and it got stuck on 3th gear and after that everything inside
got fu.......t

 

Drain the fluid and make sure to replace the fluid with the correct GM synchromesh. Go to the GM dealer to get it. If you don't have the correct fluid it will do just what you are describing. DO NOT use automatic trans fluid like for a T5.
