I need some help...
with a swap "how-to". i have an 07 mustang v6 that i want to drop a stroked 351 (out to 427) into when the warranty is up. i want a very streetable car (its not gonna be raced).that will be converted to efi and i also want to be able to run the a/c with it. i want respectable n/a numbers (it will stay n/a) and very good street manners. i will be keeping the stock t-5 (however it will be built) and will an 8.8" rear hold up well? any help on the build plan would be greatly appreciated. ( i would like to build it myself carbourated first then have it later converted to efi.) thanks for your help.

RE: I need some help...
Why are you stuck on a stroked 351 forlate modelmustang, Ifyour looking for reliability and streetability i wouldnt think twice about going for a used cobra motor or a used navigator motor with a used eaton charger from a cobra, i would really think about this combo you would probably come out cheaper in the long run.

This is going to be hard to find info on. Youre wanting to put a carb'd 351 into a newer V6 car. The V8 option would of course be an overhead cam engine in that carand we're talking about putting an "old school" single cam (in block) style engine into it. Just seems like an unpopular swap. Anything can be done but I would sell that car, and buy an older Mustang to do a 351 swap into. As far as the swap is concerned tho, I doubt any company makes headers for a 351 in that new of a car. Also, oil pan, accesories, and hood clearance will be issues. It will be hard, and doing this with another car would be alot easier, but if you are dead-set on doing this, it can be done (with enough time and $$)

RE: I need some help...
im just stuck on it because of the cubes. i want huge displacement torque and not a real high-revver. and i'd like to stay n/a, so i thought this would be something to look into. i have also considered the nav swap. have any of youall heard of a stroker kit for the 5.4's?

RE: I need some help...
and ive considered selling the car and buying an older one, but the finances say no. i'd be losing a whole lotta money (money that i could use for parts fabrication). ive already customized the car a good bit and it isnt worth anything now. and i love the looks of it so i really dont want to get rid of it. but thanks for your guy's help. and if ya'll find anything off hand, lemme know.
