Default 408w fuel system

i have a 408w- hydraulic .523 .523cam, steel crank and heads (windsor sr.), forged rods and pistons.

should i run #10 from cell to pump, #8 from pump to regulator, #8 from regulator to carb? i do plan on spraying down the road. i was told by a local mustang shop i might wanna run #10 from the cell to the pump to keep fuel supplied to the pump. is this necesary?
this kit seems like a pretty good deal. comments...

carb recommendations? car is not a dd but im trying to keep it as street friendly as possible because 80% of driving is on street. barry grant seems expensive, is it worth it? iwas trying to stick to holley. also, i'll be running a dual plane intake.
thanks for the help[/align]

408 here as well.
I'm running a 750 mighty demon on a victor junior intake with afr 185 heads. Some say the heads are small but they are what I had and it's only a street car.
I'm using a Glenn's performance sleeper tank with 10 an up to a mechanical bg pump (which is a carter with stickers on it) and 8 an to the carb. with no return.
Seems to work good for me. Still need to get it dynoed.

Suspension is MM coilovers and control armsall around with bilsteins. panhard bar and a currie 9 inch with 4.11. tko 600 for tranny.
