Start Up Problem

When I start the car the battery has full power but sometimes the voltage drops down then it dies. So I have to either rev the motor or put it in gear real quick then the voltage goes back up. Itâ€™s not a real big deal but it gets annoying so any ideas on whatâ€™s wrong or what to do.

Remove the alt. and take it to auto zone or something similiar and have them test it.

Ok thanks. I just bought it about a week ago. The guy said it was new. It looks new. But thatâ€™s what he said so Iâ€™ll check that out.

do you have underdrive pulleys? some times they can cause a problem like this, and its hard to diagnose
