Default Start Up Problem

When I start the car the battery has full power but sometimes the voltage drops down then it dies. So I have to either rev the motor or put it in gear real quick then the voltage goes back up. It’s not a real big deal but it gets annoying so any ideas on what’s wrong or what to do.

Remove the alt. and take it to auto zone or something similiar and have them test it.

Ok thanks. I just bought it about a week ago. The guy said it was new. It looks new. But that’s what he said so I’ll check that out.
