Default Transmission Choices

What would be a good transmission for a 600 hp 351 Windsor ???? I am hearing conflicting stories on transmission. I wanted to hear your opinions on the subject. Thanks.

well, the 600 hp part is what puts you on the edge of "will it break or not" with a built t5 or tko. You can put a jerico in it if you have that kinda cash, but I am swaping my t5 out for a dynamic c4 with a 4k stall.

I would rather have a manual but I am not against an automatic.

how bout a t-56, has 6 gears and can handle more then 700 torque (at least some of them) cant get better then that! its a little costly but you can run a lower gear, and keep the rev's down, along with having an indestructable transmission....and who doesnt like a 6th gear
