1995 5.8 roller block, kept the stock crank, forged h beam rods, forged 12:1 pistons, what heads do you guys recommend

If it were me, I'd throw on a set of AFR 205's or some High Ports from Trick Flow. The 205's are probably a little cheaper. Do you already have a cam for this short block or no? If you do have one, you might want to get ahold of a couple of cam grinders and see what they would recommend for your engine. This will give you optimum performance from your set up. Not that OTS cam and heads doesn't make decent power, they do, you will just see more from a custom cam and all.

What size cam? What rear end gear? What is the intented use of the car? Automatic or 5 speed?

im running a c4 tranny, its got 3.73 gears in it right now, 28x10.5 slick and will spray a 100 shot, no cam yet, and i will use the car for street and strip, i have an 850 holley for it, and a victor jr intake manifold, thanks for the suggestions they are helpful

easiest and best thing to do is contact jay at www.camshaftinnovations.com and fill out a buildsheet and he will get you what u want and will probably exceed your expectations..

Is it a stroker? Is it going to be boosted. Chances are the victor jr.'s will work very well for your app. They're cheaper, not ported, but who cares? You won't need the porting anyway. Porting is only worth about 30cfm, that chances are your engine won't need, and about $500 less than the others just because they're not ported. Jr.s are very good heads.
