Default clutch problems

i recently rebuilt the lower end of the motor in my mustang put it back in and now my clutch isnt engaging properly

Factory self adjusting system on the clutch needs to be addressed. Take a look at the quadrant under the dash

didnt have a problem with the clutch untill i pulled the motor out ive tried to adjust it and still nothing i can put the car in reverse while its running let off the clutch and it not move its also a new clutch put in about 500 miles before motor was rebuilt the previous owner put the clutch in i did the bottem end

ok, what about the forward gears? Are you sure you got everything assembled correctly?

the car will move but it is hardly grabbing at all like the pressure plate is not installed properly or throwout bearing fell barely rolls
