Default 351 EFI Specs

So I have a 1990 F250 with an AOD 351 that I am planning on building for the mustang. I have been trying to find info/specs on the engine/heads. I know the CR is 8.8:1 and it uses a flat tappet cam, what are some other specs you guys know? or if anyone has any links to sites containing the info on a 351 from the 88-91 trucks, it would be appreciated. Ive googled it and Ive checked shopkey5 also. I am trying to find this info so I know what to look for in performance parts.

what I am looking for is combustion chamber size along with the head type (is it an E7TE?), cam specs (lift, duration), piston/crank type (forged, hypereutectic, flat top, notched, etc...), Throttle Body/MAF size?

Thanks

you have E7s on there. they have anywhere from 54cc to 58cc chambers. he stock pistons are cast and dished. I forget the specs on the cam, but they aren't too impressive. throttle body is most likely one of the dual tb setups with two smaller tbs. I wouldn't worry too much about what it comes with stock since none of the components are performance pieces and you will see massive power gains with a solid H/C/I combo.

heads: they have smaller combustion chambers than the e7's that were used on 5.0's? I thought the ones out of the 5.0 had 60-64cc combustion chambers?

pistons: how many guys still have the stock internals? what kind of power can you squeeze out of them?

cam: would I be better off swapping in the stock cam/lifters from the 5.0 until I have the money for a better cam?

TB: what size are most of you guys running? I was thinking 75mm, or is that a little small?

basically my setup would be as follows, 76mm C&L Mass air meter, Professional Products 75mm tb and egr spacer, Ford Racing 30lb injectors, Holley 255lph, Professional Products adj fuel pressure reg, Typhoon upper and lower, Mac shorty 1-3/4" primaries, Mac 2-1/2" o/r H, Mac 2-1/2" pro dumps, and eventually a Comp Cams XE288RF-HR cam and kit, then AFR 185's

75mm will be fine. the guy on toohighpsi.com was able to boost his stock cast 351w pistons to 12 psi before one of them became damaged. It all depends on heat and vibration. since you have a 90 block, you have a flat tappet cam and lifters in there. in order to convert it over to a roller block you need to put the lifter spider retainer in the lifter valley or use linked lifters. honestly, If you are putting all that money into it, you should invest a bit more in the bottom end. cast pistons and factory rods with original hardware is not gonna last too long. some wise budget pieces for your build could include some domed hypereutectic pistons(bring your compression ratio up a bit. factory compression is in the 8.5:1 area), and arp rod bolts.
