351W Non roller to roller conversion....
I have a 1994 351w non roller block that I have converted to a roller block. I have a B303 roller cam, 2.5in hyd roller lifters, GT40P heads and stud mounted roller rockers. I am having a problem getting the correct length push rods for my application. I bought an adjustable push rod from comp cam but I just cant get this right, can anyone tell me step by step how to figure this thing out.
its for a 302...
351's have a bigger base circle and higher lift cause they have bigger valves. thats why people put 351 heads on 302's for more power.
base circle has to do with figuring out push rod length...your probably gonna need something like a 7-something inch rod with the right cam. FMS doesent list anything smaller than the F cam for 351's
