Hi guys i have a 1988 coupe "Roller". It's been stripped no ecm or harness. Now Í want to run a 351w Injected. Now i found one from a 1997 Ford f150 complete with harness and ecu.

Will i be able to run the truck ecu, or should i get a stock ecu for a 5.0. I have a spare 306 kicking around. Should i use its cam?

Last option i''d like to consider is a stand alone like aem. Does a factory harness from a 351 work with that?
Any help or thoughts are appreciated thx.
